  • Background
  • Hello, I am John Quincy Adams. I was born on July 11, 1767 in Braintree, Massachusettes. When I was 14 I was being trained in the diplomatic cops, and I was a secretary and translator for a Russian diplomat. Later on, went to Harvard School, and succeeded to graduate and became a lawyer at the age of 26. I then was appointed the minister of Russia by President Maddison. I then became president in 1825.
  • Transformative Events
  • I am an abolitionist of slavery due to the beliefs of my mother, and because Britain and France have outlawed it. The idea of abolition was brought to America from France and Britain. I have represented Africans in certain cases, and I believe that the "gag rule" is a violation of the constitution
  • Accomplishments
  • Through out my life I have accomplished many things, from graduating Harvard and becoming a lawyer, to helping defeat slavery. I have been a russian Minister, The President of the United States of America, and an abolitioner of slavery. I also  was appointed Minister to the Netherlands.
