  • Prologue
  • Please Ismene! I really needs you to come bury our brother with me!
  • No! I don't want to be stoned to death!
  • Scene 1
  • Did you mess with the body!
  • No! I would never!
  • Scene 2
  • It was you who buried the body!?
  • Yes! I will not deny!
  • Antigone and Ismene just received the news that their two brothers have killed each other in war. Their uncle and new ruler Creon has created a law that their one brother, who was living in Thebes, will have a proper buriel, but their other brother will not. Therefore, Antigone wants Ismene to join her in the burial of their brother, but Ismene refuses to join.
  • Scene 3
  • Please, Father. Do not kill the girls! I with the death of Antigone, there will die another!
  • Son! You are out of line! Never speak that way!
  • Creon gathered a meeting about the new law. He sends a sentry to go and guard the body to make sure no one messes with it. The sentry comes back with news that the body has been buried. Creon thinks the sentry did it.
  • Scene 4
  • It is beyond my knowledge why this is the place where the gods have chose to have me pass!
  • Creon tells the sentry that he must go and find how did it or he will be killed. The sentry finds Antigone reburying the body after a dust storm caused by the gods. The sentry brings Antigone back to Creon.  He also brings Ismene in for questioning. He takes the girls away and has them guarded.
  • Scene 5
  • Since you have done wrong you will find that two of your family members will die!
  • oh no! I must go release Antigone!
  • Creon's son, Haemon, who is engaged to Antigone. Haemon asked his father to not kill the girls and punish them  in a not so violent way. Creon disagrees. Haemon says that with the death of Antigone with be another on. Creon thinks that Haemon will kill him, but Haemon is actually talking about killing himself. 
  • Antigone is taken to a vault where she will be starved to death and die. Her father, Oedipus, is who she blames for it all. She says that he has only brought her misfortune.
  • Teiresias comes to Creon and says that Polyneices body has brought sickness to Thebes. Creon thinks that he is just looking for money. Teiresias predicts that with the death of Antigone two of his family members will die.  With that Creon goes and tries to free Antigone who has already passed. He sees his son, Haemon, and they get into a small war and Haemon commits suicide. With the news of that Creons wife kills herself and Creon has no direct family.
