  • The war began when China became a communist state. The U.S. and U.N. forces then began fighting in Korea in 1950.

  • The war occurred on the Korea peninsula. The border was called the 38th parallel. The border was in between of South and North Korea. After the war it remained there. 
  • The war began after China decided to become a communist state. U.S. and U.N. forces then began to fight at Korea in 1950. 
  • The U.S. and U.N forces were involved. Both forces were aimed to control the Korean peninsula. 
  • The war started, because North Korea communist army crossed the 38th parallel. Which led to conflict. U.S. came to South Korea's aid. 
  • It prevented North Korea from taking over all of Korea. Also showed that U.S. sent troops to contain communism and the U.N. to send troops to expand communism.
