  • Feudalism is a social structure that was developed in Europe. I will be telling you what has caused the Decline of Feudalism in the Medieval Europe. Come along with me to see this adventure.
  • This poor boy is suffering from the Bubonic Plague
  • The Bubonic Plague is an infection/ disease that is carried from fleas. If people or animals start getting the symptoms   ( fever, vomiting, fierce coughing, sneezing fits, and  egg - sized swellings or bumps ). The plague started  in the 14th century. It was first located in China, then traveled its way to India, finally it traveled to Europe.
  • These poor indiviual have died from the bubonic plague
  • The Bubonic Plague starts of by having just a little nasty flea bit you. When a flea is about to die it will bit a rat or a human being. That means the human / rat now has the plague. A flea is most likely to bit an animal. Then when they are about to die they will bit anyone who has bacteria on them.
  • The peasants now have power and the bubonic plague has caused the decline of feudalism
  • Now, when the human being or animal gets the bubonic plague, the poor human / animal will die in less than 3-4 weeks. Back in Medieval Europe the people didn't know how to cure the bubonic plague so they let the people die.
  • The bubonic plague caused the decline of feudalism because it killed about 24 million Europeans which is almost a third of their population. Therefore there wasn't much people alive.
  • Lastly, the peasants have obtained power and maintained power in this situation. The peasants obtained power because there were not much people to work in the fields . The peasant workers maintained power because they were the only ones left so they could demand for more money and for more rights.
