- Today we will be talking about Pythagorean Theorem.
- Pythagorean Theorem is when you are trying to find the measurement of side C. Side C will always be the longest side of the triangle.
- What is that?

- Your formula is A squared+ B squared=C squared.

- We are going to be talking about Functions
- what are Functions?
- This Would be a function because each X value has EXACTLY one Y value.

- Each X value should have exactly One Y value to make a Function.

- Functions are where you have tables of numbers and you have X and Y values.

- This would NOT be a function because, The X value 1 has More Than One Y value.

- Therefor it wouldn't be a function. X can only corospond to one y vaule, and if X repeats, Y must be the same.

- X is the Month. Say 1 = January. 1 corosponds to 2&5.You can't have a birthday on January 1st and 5th right?
