  • One Hundred and Five, North Tower
  • Good day!
  • Tell Monsieur what kind of shoe it is.
  • Lucy Manette and Mr. Lorry arrived in France to see the shoemaker.
  • It is the same. How can it be!
  • Monsieur Defarge brought the two to see the shoemaker who has been locked away for many years.
  • We go to England to be at peace and rest.
  • Defarge tells the shoemaker to tell Mr. Lorry what kind of shoe it is and who the maker is.
  • I can't say.
  • I hope you care to be recalled to life.
  • The shoemaker realizes that the hair of his wife's, that he wears around his neck, is the same as Lucy's.
  • Lucy tells her father that she will bring him home to England so that she may take care of him.
  • When leaving, Mr. Lorry again brings up the message from the beginning of the book, "recalled to life".
