Storyboard Text

  • Exposition/Introduction
  • Main Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • Over the summer my family and I went out on the boat for the day. After a long, hot day in the sun we approached some kayakers who's kayaks were capsized.
  • Climax
  • When we approached them they explained how on of the kayaks couldn't stay afloat, and it kept tipping over. They were both dehydrated, and weak from kayaking all day.
  • Falling Action
  • Once we pulled up to them we got their story, and why they were out here. It was a windy day, so not ideal for canoeing or kayaking. They were in a group, so potentially more people who needed help.
  • Resolution/Conclusion
  • Very quickly, my aunt and parents, scrambled to get the men in our boat and the kayaks safely tied behind our boat. After mad chaos, and an eventful fifteen minutes they got everything situation. The men were extremely grateful for our kind deed.
  • After we got them in the boat, they gave us their destination, which was just around the bend. As we were cruising there, we spotted some of their other friends who needed help, so we gave them a helping hand.
  • The men and all their friends had met up in the calmness of the creek. Rejuvenated and reenergized the men got back in their kayaks and cruised right to the dock they were meant to get out on. I felt accomplished that just the luck of time had allowed my family and me to rescue grateful men.
