  • It was coincident that the driver was driving distracted. She's just one of 387,000 who get injured a year
  • Why was it, Peggy? She did nothing wrong.
  • Ten percent of 15-19-year-olds drive distracted.
  • It wasn't Peggy's fault. The other kid was in the prime age of distracted driving.
  • From ages 20-23 the percent of drivers driving distracted is 27% Those are the ones reported with fatal crashes.
  • Peggy didn't even allow other people in the car to have phones. She didn't brush her teeth put on lipstick or anything.
  • Peggy did everything she could. She tried to avoid it.
  • Peggy was our friend. Her dying wish was that no one texts and drives. Over 3,200 people die a year from distracted driving.
