  • As one of the founding fathers, John Adams helped work on the draft of the Declaration of Independence. Adams was the delegate from Massachusetts to the Continental Congress. This meant he helped declare independence.
  • Extremely Intelligent
  • During the Boston Massacre John Adams defended eight British soldiers and one British officer. Six of those soldiers were acquitted. The other two soldiers were charged with manslaughter and given reduced sentences.
  • The End
  • John Adams helped create and sign the peace treaty of Paris. This treaty was an agreement between the United States Representatives and Great Britain's Representatives. This document ended the American Revolution.
  • John Adams lived a life heavily dominated by educations. He learned to read before he even entered school.  John was also bored with school so he entered a more difficult and challenging school. John graduated from Harvard in 1755 and pursued law.
