This storyboard does not have a description.
If the sun suddenly were to disappear, all of the planets would retain their forward motion, causing the earth and all of the other planets to fly off into space.
However, it does take eight and a half minutes for sunlight to reach the earth, so we would have nine blissful moments of sunshine left.
The earth retains a lot of heat so although people would not freeze at first the temperature would quickly drop. After a week the temperature would drop well below 0F.
Of course, the sun is necessary for photosynthesis, so after the sun disappears, the plants are not able to make energy, this will quickly cause the plants to die. This will cause a chain reaction and without a food source many animals will begin to die, eventually, without a food source humans will die.
Eventually, the temperatures would get so low that layers of the ocean and the earth's atmosphere would freeze and the atmosphere would crash onto earth, releasing harmful radiation
While a few extremely inventive people may be able to survive after the sun disappeared, eventually life would no longer be able to exist.
