  • You are a foolish girl, we have been waiting for dinner for 10 minutes!
  • I'm sorry ma'am and sir, it will not happen again.
  • Another slip up and you'll be fired.
  • Conflict
  • But... I ... tried really hard on this and did my best.
  • Rising Action
  • The dinner was almost prepared when Mrs. Peters called Charlotte into the room. She yelled at her and called her foolish. Though dinner wasn't supposed to start until 6:00, and it was only 5:45. Red can represent anger. Black can represent unhappiness. Green can represent misfortune.
  • Climax
  • Charlotte cooked dinner perfectly and on time, but Mrs. Peters still had something to say. She told her lots of hurtful things. She even said that she couldn't do her job right, the only thing Charlotte was good at. Red can represent anger. Black can represent unhappiness. Green can represent misfortune.
  • Falling Action
  • This is burnt. You are terrible at your job, and you have been for years. I hope you know we only keep you around because you are too stupid to find a new job.
  • Ben's Bakery
  • The next day, Charlotte had an idea like no other. She was going to poison the food and make Mrs. Peters regret those awful words. Yellow can represent deceit.
  • Resolution
  • Thank you, ma'am.
  • That day, Charlotte brought the food in before Mrs. and Mr. Peters could say anything about it. They both took a bite, then slumped over in their chairs and died. Yellow can represent deceit. Black can represent death. Dark Red can represent betrayal.
  • Please reach Charlotte Rogers for a job as a maid.
  • Charlotte decided that she was going to get a new job. She put her poster up, and waited for the word. Though some people did still wonder what happened to Mr. and Mrs. Peters, it would forever be a mystery. Purple can represent mystery.
  • Charlotte got that new job. Everyone here was nice to her, and loved the way she did things. She proved Mrs. Peters wrong with this new job. She was 100% loyal to Mr. and Mrs. Tortellini. Pink can represent kindness. Blue can represent loyalty. Green can represent generosity.
  • Charlotte, this looks like the best food ever. It is cooked perfectly, you are the best at your job.
