Storyboard Text

  • Labour 1: The Nemean Lion. Hercules was assigned the task of killing the Nemean Lion. He throttled the lion to death with his bare hands.
  • Labour 2: The Hydra. Hercules is sent to kill the monstrous hydra. He calls for his nephew Iolaus who helps him defeat the Hydra by searing the open wound of the hydra head that Hercules cuts off. finally Hercules kills the mortal head and buries it under a rock.
  • Labour 3: The Cerynitian Hind. Third labour was to capture the creature. He put an arrow between the tendons and bones of the two forlegs pinning it down without drawing blood.
  • Labour 4: The Erymanthian Boar. Hercules was to capture and bring back the boar alive to Eurystheus. He located the Boar on Mt. Erymanthus and drove it into a snowbank immobilizing it. he slung it on his shoulder and carried it back to Eurystheus.
  • Labour 5: The Augean Stables. Hercules was challenged to clean out the stables of King Augean in a single day. Hercules diverted two rivers through the stable yard and got the job done without getting dirty. But because he demanded pay this was not counted as a labour.
  • Labour 6: The Stmphalian Birds. Hercules was pitted against these dangerous birds as his sixth task. He created racket causing the birds to take wing. once in the air he brought them down by dozens of arrows.
