Mason was lying in bed waiting for what will happen tomorrow. THE BASEBALL GAME! He was so excited but a little nervous at the same time. You see, this is Mason’s first baseball game and he knew nobody on the team. He kept thinking about what could go right and what could possibly go wrong. Mason was lonely being the only child. His mom thought it would be a good idea to get him involved in something fun and make friends.
The very next morning was the day of the baseball game. He grabbed his bat, helmet, cleats, and glove and rushed out the front door to the car. His mom had the biggest smile on her face seeing her little Mason be so excited for baseball.
The Baseball Game Brooklyn Jarrett
They arrived to the baseball field and the game soon began. The sun was blazing hot but that didn’t discourage Mason from having a good time. He was pitching. Mason doesn’t particularly like pitching because his worst fear is getting hit in the face with the baseball. Today will soon turn out to be his worst nightmare. John was up to bat and he is known to swing the bat very hard which makes the baseball glide through the sky. John swung and the baseball went flying. Mason stared at the baseball to make sure he knew where it was going but the sun was blinding him. He couldn’t see.
Mason didn't expect that Mike would come to the rescue because of his condition but now he realized that Mike can do anything he dreams of and Mason now has a best friend.
