On day 1, God created light, and separated the light from the darkness, calling light, day, and darkness, night.
"Sky will now exist."
On day 2, God created expanse to separate the waters calling it sky.
"Land and seas,the colours of earth will now be made."
On day 3, God created dry ground and gathered the waters, calling the dry grounds land and the gathered water seas. On day 3 God also created vegetation (plants and trees).
On day 4, God created the moon, sun and the stars to give light to earth and govern and separate the day from the night. These would also serve as signs to mark seasons, years and days.
"Creatures will fill the seas and sky."
On day 5, God created every living creature of the seas and every winged bird, blessing them to multiply and fill the waters and sky's with life.
"Man will live on earth."
On the 6th day, God created all the animals to fill the earth. On day 6 god also created man and woman (adam and eve) in his own image, to commune with him. He blessed them, and gave them every creature and the whole earth to rule over, care for and cultivate.
