  • Im gonna tell you about producers and consumers
  • In summary, producers are organisms that make their own food. Producers create food for themselves and also provide energy for the rest of the ecosystem.
  • Any green plant, like a tree or grass, as well as algae and chemo-synthetic bacteria, can be producers.
  • now im gonna tell you about consumers
  • Primary consumers are animals that eat primary producers; they are also called herbivores (plant-eaters).
  • Secondary consumers eat primary consumers. They are carnivores (meat-eaters) and omnivores (animals that eat both animals and plants).
  • and that's what consumers and producers are.
