To get in this Kingdom, you must answer this riddle.
The King is riding down the path and ends up meeting Oedipus. Because it was a one way road, Oedipus and the King got into an altercation.
Sir, you are amazing, you defeated the Sphinx , no one has ever answered the riddle correctly.
Out of anger, Oedipus killed him and all but one of his servants and kept on walking.
I promise I will find who killed your king and bring him to justice!
Oedipus got to the kingdom to be stopped by a creature called a sphinx. He challenged him and Oedipus got the riddle correct.
Oedipus was praised by everyone in the kingdom for defeating the sphinx.
Oedipus felt that he could help the kingdom by finding the man who killed their king.
Because Oedipus came into the town and defeated the sphinx AND wanted to find the killer, they thought he should become king so he married Jocasta, The queen.
