The Mohenjo-Daro was in northern India among the indus river it existed 5,000 years ago
The homes in Monhejo-Daro where made out of baked mud bricks. The rich had homes that had courtyards, people that didn't have a courtyard had a flat roof. With the flat roof they could make it as another room, sleep there or play with friends.
Each house had a well which it drew water from a bathing room. The waste water was directed into covered drains along the main streets. When they took showers they stood in a shower tray and tipped clean water on to themselves.
The "Great Bath" was a place where they did ritual bathing,bathing was an important part of their life. They had a similar religion to hindus.
The use of seals where a big important thing because, it showed ownership in items. They used them when trading goods and they created art with it.
The Indus people didn't use money , instead they had trading goods to trade with other people.
