  • The Crucible Storyboard
  • "(in tears) I look for John Proctor that took me from mt sleep and put knowledge in my heart!" Page 471 Line 600.
  • Betty woke up and she knew everything Abigail did. She wants to tell but Abigail keeps telling her she saw nothing. She tells the other girls there that if they say anything else about it she will come to them in the middle of the night and kill them with a knife.

  • John Proctor
  • Abigail is Rev. Parris' niece and Betty is his daughter. He caught them and a group of girls dancing in the woods. After that incident Betty won't wake up or move. The whole town heard about it and thinks it's witchcraft.
  • John Proctor.
  • "No, no, Abby. That's done with." Page 469 line 529
  • Abigail is in love with John Proctor who is a 30- year old man. Him and Abigail had an affair and his wife Elizabeth knew about it. She has it in her mind he still loves her but he keeps telling her he doesn't. She does not want to let go of Proctor.
  • "(angered- at himself as well). You'll speak nothin' of Elizabeth!"
  • "I may speak my heart, I think!" Page 474 Line 833
  • John keeps telling Abigail what they had is over. He loves Elizabeth and not her. He does not want to continue what they had.
  • Here John Proctor is telling Abigail not to bad mouth Elizabeth. He does not want to hear anyone talking bad about his wife. Abigail claims she is blackening her name in the village and she is nothing but good
  • Here Proctor is talking with Reverend Parris. They are arguing about how Proctor thinks Parris is not a fit preacher. He never talks about God all he talks about is Hell. Proctor states he is going to with what his heart tells him to say.
