Storyboard Text

  • Good question BJ rain comes from a cycle called the water cycle it conscientious on making rain.
  • Where does rain come from?
  • The first step in the water cycle is evaporation. When water from lakes, rivers, and oceans get sucked up into the sky making gas. The main source for evaporation is sunlight.
  • Oh!!!! Makes a little more sense now!
  • The next step to the water cycle is condensation it is when the water that is gas and goes into a liquid again. Condensation also is when clouds are made.
  • Hmmmm.... Never thought about that
  • The last part of this journey of the water cycle is precipitation. This happens when the liquid in the cloudsgets to heavy then it causes it to fall which = rain.
  • Cool!
  • The after a day of rain, the water goes through runoff. It goes down into the ground and into a reservoir. Then you may end up drinking the water from the ground that was in the sky earlier. Then also soon later it may be taken back into the sky to repeat the process.
  • Huh! It makes sense how rain comes and is made! Maybe I will tell my friends about what I learned!
  • So do you get that the water evaporation, condensation, precipitation and runoff?
  • No.... Can you please go over it again.....
