Tim and I were walking by this old, broken, creepy abandoned house. This house gave us an eerie feeling while we were walking by. "I've heard about what happened here.", Tim said. He was talking about the incident where someone broke into the house and killed the 2 children inside also their mother. Their father killed the the man but was so angry and depressed that he burnt the house down and killed himself.
We were both standing there looking focused and trying to imagine what happened that night but the full image of the night couldn't appear in our minds. There were stories about a group of kids that went in and stuff happened to two of the kids. "You know what i'm thinking?, Tim said. "You want to go inside don't you?, I said. We both were skeptical when we were getting ready to go inside of the house because we're on a side of town that is not very known to us.
"Well we're either going in or not!",Tim yelled. We finally decided to start going towards the house and it was a very cautious and slow stroll up to the house. We reached the door and played rock, paper, scissors to decide who went in first. Tim got rock and I got paper. "You always get so lucky Dylan!", Tim whined. Tim opened the door and all you could see were these matches that were standing upward and they were also lit with a flame. They fell over and went out when we took our steps inside and it frightened us a bit.
We walked around and saw another room with a match lit up and standing upward just like the ones from before and when we entered they went out as well. It freaked us out and we wanted to leave this place and come back when we had flashlights. We tried walking back to the door and the room changed and there was another match in the room lit up and standing up.
We kept walking into different rooms and trying to walk back into the rooms that we were in before but they would always change and the match would go out every time. I found out what happens when the room changes from it just happening over and over again. Every time the match goes out the room would change so we would have to find a way to keep the match lit up while we're in there. This was our only chance of escaping this house and we were not going to be stuck here until we die or someone notices we're missing. I tried to look for something to light the matches and...
