We're going to be leaning about the 20th element, which is CALCIUM!
Hello class, today is the 20th day of us learning about the periodic table and you know what that means.
Come on , Mr. Suarez, another test! This is going to be our 3rd test next week.
Correct, now pay attention because this is going to be on your upcoming test about the first 20 elements.
I can't wait till lunch...
i'm about to ace this test.
that's pretty interesting.
20 Ca 40.078
Calcium is a small grey/silver solid non- metal which is soft and very malleable. It's also a great conductor of electricity.
calcium seems to be similar to magnesium, which is also an Alkaline earth metal.
20 Ca 40.078
Calcium is a part of a family called Alkaline earth metals, which are silvery and soft but not very reactive.
I should be taking notes of this, since this on the test.
20 Ca 40.078
One of calcium's chemical properties is that it reacts quickly with air, to form a light coating of gray oxide. It also burns with a red flame.
That seems like it will be on the test.
So with that info, i calculated that Calcium has 20 Protons, 20 Electrons, and 20 Neutrons.
20 Ca 40.078
Calcium has an Atomic number of 20 and an Atomic mass of 40, while its element symbol is Ca.
