  • Why was this man in the middle of the road! His death is well deserved.
  • Oedipus kills Laius out of anger.

  • City is pledged by the actions of Oedipus but he dose not know it.
  • King, your people are cursed by the gods! The gods are angry at the man that killed Laius!
  • Hubrous
  • When talking to Teiresias, Oedipus can still not see past his success. 
  • No sir! You were the one that killed your father and married your mother!
  • No you are wrong so be gone!
  • It is OK! I can solve this because I defeated the Sphinx!
  • Angnorisis
  • Oedipus realizes that the prophecy did come true about his whole family.
  • You know what... I did kill a man... and  it was just like the prophecy...
  • Oh no! I killed my father and marred my mother! Everything is true! Oh the horror!

  • No! I must now be banished for killing my own father! I do not want to see any of this horror.
  • Oedipus blinds and banshes himself ending the story of Oedipus.
