In the paleolithic age, we had portable tents and had to move all the time. We had to move with the groups of animals and find new plants to eat. And because we had to move we never stayed in one place for long and never had permanent shelters.
The first major change in our Neolithic Age was that we were able to build permanent shelters. These shelters were made from mud bricks and sticks for stability. We used ladders to get inside our houses, as we had openings in the roof for this very reason.
Another thing that changed is that we have lots of new things in our houses. The new things such as pits in the ground for storing food and cooking. Our new houses gave us protection from the weather and made our lives more comfortable
This topic is important because it was a change that allowed us to be safer and more comfortable. We could be in stable homes and not have to be nomads anymore. We were finally able to be in permanent homes.
