Stage one: Sam is living a happy life she is also very close with her father. Every night they read books together.
This sucks, she treats me like a slave!
Stage two: Her dad remarried and has two step sisters. Her dad died in a earth quake. Her step mom and dad were starting to treat her like a slave. Lastly, her mom doesn't support her dream of going to Princeton.
Stage three: Austin chased her and ended up kissing her. They started dating and felt that everything was getting better for her. Such as, she moved out, quit at the diner, and found out her mom step stole her dads will. Which said that everything like the diner and all of the cars go to Sam.
Examples of opposite perspective: Sam is poor and not popular and Austin is rich and popular. Fiona is dumb but owns the restaurant, and Rhonda is smart and only works at the restaurant
