A refracting telescope uses a convex lens to focus light. The light enters the scope through a large lens at the top. It has a huge objective lens, so it collects a lot of light and shows the star I am studying very well. I named it the Tiffany Telescope.
My star is big and red and it is a giant star, so it's bigger than the sun!
Is it hot?
Yeah! It's temperature is around 3, 200 degrees Celcius!
Also, it's a supernova, so it's at the end of its "life."
Wow, that is so cool! Thanks for telling me about your telescope and star!
