Storyboard Text

  • Hello I'm Jack and these people are my dad, my mom, Mrs. Stretchberry and mean Uncle Bill. My mom is sadly deaf.
  • Genre: narrative poem
  • This is my classroom, room 204. We learn lots of poetry. Do you see my poem on the board?
  • I wish I could write poems and have Mrs.. Strechberry type them up all nice and pretty and put them on the board
  • I love it in here, but the problem is I want to quite writing poetry, its too hard, and my Uncle Bill says that what I write isn't real poetry. Well who asked him!?
  • Tuh! Give me large things! Give me war give me death , and tragedy, and philosophical metaphors, and sonnets and odes!
  • I am learning to love poetry again, so there is my solution, but another problem is I hate cats!
  • alliteration=padded paws, dancing ducking assonance= cousin to the concrete, clasps the crag consonance= crag with crooked, sauntering sipping similes= is pleasingly like a plump momma, like an acrobat she leaps
  • My solution to hating cats is getting one for Christmas! I named my cat Skitter Mckitter, and Skitter got out! But a big fat cat brought Skitter back!
  • Edgar Allan Poe is a poet from the book, and one poem he wrote was the bells, and another poet is Valerie Worth, and she wrote kitten.
  • I'm glad you think so
  • I've changed a lot from my last book, I am a much better poet, i've learned a lot about poetry, and I don't hate poetry as much as I used to. Poetry is totally for boys too.
