A star starts off as a Protostar, where hydrogen gas is pulled into a ball by oxygen. it than turns into either a large star or a small star. Stars are like humans, they start off as a baby and grow as the star forms.
A large star is 8 times more than our sun! But the star only lasts about a million years, afterwards its turns into a Red supergiant which forms iron. Once the large star explodes it causes a supernova which is the biggest explosion in the universe. From there either a black hole or a neutron star forms. From a supernova a nebula also forms.
From a protostar a small star can form, from there a red giant made up of helium is made, once the outer layers of the red giant escape its called a planetary nebula. From there a white dwarf forms, than doom turns into a black dwarf or the planetary nebula can also form nebula.
There are so many galaxies in the universe it's unbelievable!
Earth is located in the Virgo Supercluster, within the Virgo Supercluster there are Local groups with smaller galaxies! Earth's address is Earth, Solar System, Orion Spiral Arm, Milky Way galaxy, local group, Virgo Supercluster, The Universe.
Thank you for coming on an adventure around space with us!!
