There once was a man(27 years old) and a wife (26 years old)that worked and lived at there farm. They had a really good time living there until Stephen F. Austin (The Father Of Texas) said that there was better life in Mexico. So they decided that they would leave and to start a new life in Mexico.
For many weeks the couple was getting ready to leave by selling there land, animals, house, and some decor to get some extra money. After once they were done getting the house ready to move out of they talked to a Empresario (a person who had been granted the right to settle on land in exchange for recruiting and taking responsibility for new settlers) named Stephen F. Austin and he helped them figure out where they were going and where they were going to settle in at.
They both started to pack up with there most important items, money, food, water, clothes,a hat, extra pairs of shoes, a weapon, and there dogs food and water including the bowls. After once they were done they headed to there wagon to leave.
They headed to Mexico with big expectations but along the way the bumped into many bad situations like, the man becoming really sick from dehydration, running into major issues with the food supplies and they had to hunt, encountering some not so nice native Americans, and there horses becoming very weak.
It took them along time to get there but when they did they found a nice farm to live on and they started there family there. They loved there new home and they hoped that one day they could share there experience with there children once they got older.
Once they had children they decided to have a full time job as a farmer and they sold there goods to people in the neighborhood. After a few years some of there extended family came and lived with them since they learned how amazing it was in Mexico.
