Natasha Kingsley is being deported back to Jamaica in less than 24 hours. On the same day, she falls in love with a guy named Daniel Bae in New York on the streets. They know that they cannot be together forever so they spend the only few hours they have left with eachother.
Today is my last day in America. Tomorrow ill be gone.
You could've warned me, you could've told me you were leaving.
Daniel asks Natasha questions from an experimental article that put two people together and the people fell in love. She doesn't believe in love at first sight, true love, etc. Although, Daniel tries to make her believe its true.
Later on, Natasha still hasnt told Daniel that she is being deported in less than 24 hours. He falls more in love with her as the hours go on. She also starts to believe that true love is real, and she starts to fall for him.
Natasha is upset because Daniel keeps saying they are meant to be. She wants to believe him, but they cant be together because she will be deported to Jamaica but he doesn't know this. She tells him and they get into a fight because Daniel thought that they were forever.
Daniel becomes furious and Natasha tells him that he should go. He missed his train because he was with Natasha so he waits for another. Natasha rides a bus to a museum that she loves to get him off her mind.
Ten years pass and a flight attendant named Irene on the plane knows Natasha. She saved her from committing suicide when she talked to Natasha and Daniel on a building roof. Irene spots someone familiar a couple seats away on the plane who is actually Daniel. Natasha and Daniel instantly recognize each other. They ironically cross paths years later.
