The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Because your act of rebellion has inspired others, I need you to turn this around, or else a price will be paid.
Ladies and gentlemen, for the 3rd Quarter Quell, we will draw from all past tributes, for a twist on the 75th Games!
....and a motive to eliminate Katniss
This all has to end now!!! I will save Peeta and defy the capitol as my last act as the mockingjay!
In the first book, Katniss did an act of rebellion against the capitol that inspired others to start uprisings. President Snow threatens Katniss to stop the people from rebelling or else the people close to her will pay the price.
As a special twist for the 75th Hunger Games, or third Quarter Quell, President Snow had the districts draw from their past tributes. Being the only girl, Katniss was sure to get in. President Snow was using this as a way to get rid of Katniss, forever.
During the Games, after being attacked, Katniss resorted to her last option: destroying the arena. She used her bow and arrow and connected it to the lightning tree, and shot it into the sky, the top forcefield of the arena. Everything crumbled to dust.
