  • WOW this place is beautiful. Where am I? And if you don't mind me asking who are you?
  • This is Canada millions of years ago and I will be your guide for the remainder of your trip.
  • Wait is that what humans used to look like? Why are their hands like that?
  • Opposable thumbs, like the ones we have presently, were first associated with Homo Habilis (forerunner of the Homosapien).
  • How do they eat without thumbs then?
  • They eat similar to other wildlife. However with the appearance of the Opposable thumb, it enabled hands to refine grip to hold objects which led to the development of late resources. The creation was also accompanied by Bipedalism which freed hands from walking duties.
  • Let's keep walking. But continuing with our conversation, what type of tools were they able to create?
  • They were soon able to invent fire for food and carve weaponry for hunting.
  • That was really interesting!
