When people from Africa, Americas, Asia, and Europe travelled around the world, there were lots of changes that were being made to people's everyday life. Diseases like the flu, smallpox, measles, and chicken pox started to spread around.
During the enlightenment many philosophers discovered new scientific laws, ideas, and inventions. The scientific revolution was during the same time and it was focused on the actual world.The idea that a God exists came up in the enlightenment as one of the main ideas. Galileo Galilei made a huge invention with the telescope that allowed atronermers to see the sky.
In the Renaissance Martin Luther came up with the 95 thesis and changed Christianity forever. Artists started focusing on symmetry and realism. Literature changed to Greek and Roman learning.
Different languages were being learned through out the colonies like French, Spanish, and English. The triangle trade helped different goods come through the colonies. The bad part of it is in the colony were being owned by mother countries. For example Britian colonized the America's and were taking more from them than they were giving.
Nicolaus Copernicus came up with the idea that the planets revolve around the sun. Rousseau came up with the social contract in goverment to give up smaller rights to protect bigger rights.
The printing press got invented and more people were able to read books and learn languages and different ideas from other people. The printing press also helped trade and merchants because the economy expanded and merchants gained more knowledge on marketing and expanded their goods.
The causes of the reformation is people started to question the church. People started having different political ideas. Rome also broke apart.
The impact the reformation had on society was mostly religious. It ties in with the renaissance and how Martin Luther questioned the catholic church and the people agreed with him and he led a big movement.
