  • George, go get the troops and envict the French! Fort Duquesne is going down!
  • 1755: British forces overwhelmed 2 French forts near Nova Scotia and evicted the Acadians. 
  • (1758-1759) George: We need to cut off french shipping to America. The indians will desert the french and we can capture Fort Duquesne.
  • 1760: Due to their victories the British were able to capture Montreal and force the French governor and general to surrender the rest of Canada
  • (1759) General James Wolfe: We need to attack Quebec in the night by scaling a cliff and occupying it. 
  • Treaty of Paris (1763): The Treaty of Paris ended the war in favor of the British. The British kept Canada, The Great Lakes Region, Ohio River Valley, and Florida.
  • The Mississippi River is now the boundary between us and the Spanish claims.
  • The war united the colonies because they all wanted to be separate from the each other.
  • The war will lead to future conflict between the British and the colonies because the British taxed the colonies to pay off war debt and imposed new trade laws.
  • We must tax them for money to pay off war debt!
  • We should also impose new trade laws
