(1758-1759) George: We need to cut off french shipping to America. The indians will desert the french and we can capture Fort Duquesne.
1760: Due to their victories the British were able to capture Montreal and force the French governor and general to surrender the rest of Canada
(1759) General James Wolfe: We need to attack Quebec in the night by scaling a cliff and occupying it.
Treaty of Paris (1763): The Treaty of Paris ended the war in favor of the British. The British kept Canada, The Great Lakes Region, Ohio River Valley, and Florida.
The Mississippi River is now the boundary between us and the Spanish claims.
The war united the colonies because they all wanted to be separate from the each other.
The war will lead to future conflict between the British and the colonies because the British taxed the colonies to pay off war debt and imposed new trade laws.
We must tax them for money to pay off war debt!
