  • War Begins in North America
  • Near the end of the 17th century, North America was very valuable land and so a 7-year war from England came to America and England VS. France started fighting for N.A.
  • Early French Military Success
  • Both France and England wanted to expand their land with the Ohio River Valley because of the trade there.
  • Later British Military Successes
  • When Washington and his men attacked a french work party of soilders and took them captive he brutally killed them and started the French and Indian War.
  • Results and Exchange of Territories
  • Treaty of ParisThis treaty brought peace between France and England but with British win which meant they now owned all of Canada, America and the coast of the Mississippi river.
  • When Washington was surrounded by french soldiers he was forced to surrender and return to Virginia.
  • With the change of leader ship in London to William Pitt he took over the effort of the war and led Britain to a victory.
