  • No this is the government's land!
  • This is my land get off!
  • We share the lands now.
  • So leave them alone.
  • You better get scared!
  • You may scare them but you don't scare me!
  • I'm sorry!
  • There was war in the U.S. and washington wanted peace. He tried to fix it with the Treaty of Paris. The countries claimed land and then they got into another disagreement. This time we got help from the native americans. Finally, after all that the native americans and the americans fought about the northwest territory. The northwest territory was so important to the americans because it secured and helped the nation grow.
  • Too late.
  • The war between the native americans and the americans was called the battle of fallen timbers. The americans thought the native americans were less than them. This meant that they thought they were better than the native americans. This was not true they. The americans sent a group of troops out to fight and they lost. They sent another group and lost. This was because we did not train the troops because we thought we were better. Finally, we sent a group of people who were trained and finally we beat the native americans. This ended the war and the native americans signed the treaty now known as the treaty of greenville.
  • Sign this treaty and get peace.
  • We will sign!
  • Soon after the battle of fallen timbers came something now know ask the whiskey rebellion. This was about the farmers being mad about the lack of food that had been getting to the people along with other things. This lead to the farmers rebelling and washington getting really mad. He sent 13,000 troops to scare the farmers
  • Yay!
  • We signed a treaty with Spain, Britain, and France to ended the fighting.
  • In 1789 the french rebelled against their government. This lead to something called the french revolution. The french revolution was a war between the french and the people of france.
  • The french revolution was a stressful thing for washington. This lead to washington remaining neutral so he didn't take anyone's side. If he took anyone's side he knew that someone would start a war with the U.S.
  • To remain neutral washington made a treaty with all of the countries. This made the countries stop fighting.
