Yes we do have a $3.75 priced carton, but I'm going to let you figure that one out.
Hello! Welcome to the Magic Market!
Hello, I would like to review some of the prices of your milk and possibly buy some of your milk, but I have a few questions first.
Ok, what're your questions?
Well... this carton in my hand is $3.09 and the half gallon carton on the counter is 1.65 and, well I did the math and the average price per quart is $0.72, but both of these cartons do not match up to that mathematical inference.
Yes I am aware of this, and we do mark up the prices on the smaller cartons so that people can't just buy a ton of smaller cartons, and by making the bigger cartons less expensive per quart, usually people buy the bigger one because they get a discount by buying the bigger carton.
Ok thank you, and do you have any cartons that cost $3.75? Because I have about 5 dollars to spend on milk today.
Ok, ummm that would be just about 1 1/8 gallons! I also have another question, sorry to bug you, do you guys happen to sell 3 gal cartons?
We do sell a 3 gallon carton but it's price we let the customers try and figure out!
Well if the average price per quart is $0.72, then that must mean... I figured it out! $14.61 for a 3 gal carton!
Good Job, and we also have pint cartons and one quart cartons for $0.57 and $0.99, so see if that matches up with your slope.
Good, you figured out all of our milk prices and their slope! Thank you for shopping at magic market have a good day!
Well that doesn't match up to the slope I made, and they are higher in price per quart than this gallon carton in my hand. Probably because of what you wer talking about earlier, well thank you for all your help have a good rest of your day!
