Storyboard Text

  • This is where Romeo hears about Juliet's death from a man:Man. "Her body sleeps in Capels' monument, And her immortal part with angels lives. I saw her laid low in her kindred's vault And presently took post to tell it you. O' pardon me for bringing these ill news"(V.i.17-22).
  • This is Romeo when he went to the Apothecary to buy a poison so he could kill himself to be with Juliet:Romeo: "Let me have a dram of poison, such soon -speeding gear As will disperse itself through all the veins That the life -weary taker may fall dead"(V.i.59-62).
  • Romeo is at the vault but he had to fight Paris to the death in order to get to Juliet's body since Paris thought Romeo was there to do harm to the graveParis. "O, I am slain! If thou be merciful, Open the tomb, lay me with Juliet"(V.iii.72-73).
  • This is when Romeo puts Paris in The tomb and then kills himself so he can be with Juliet again:Romeo. "Here's to my love! O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die"(V.iii.119-120).
  • Juliet wakes up and once she realizes what happened she kills herself with a dagger:Juliet."This is thy sheath: there rust, and let me die"(V.iii.170).
