  • Colonial leaders gathering to discuss their relationship with Great Britian
  •  Mostly everyone present agreed that the colonies should boycott trade with Britain.
  • In addition, Continental  Congress requested that each colony began preparing their militias by intensifying the training of their soldiers for a colonial army.
  • George Washington was unanimously voted leader of the Continental Army 
  • Congress sent the Olive Branch Petition to George III as a final attempt at avoiding conflict but he denied it.
  • General Washington putting his staff together in preparation to depart for Boston.
