On January 27th, 1756, in Salzburg Austria, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born.
Wolfgang's father, Leopold, was a famous musician and composer.
Leopold taught Wolfgang how to play multiple instruments, and they toured Europe to play music.
Mozart later used his vast knowledge of music to compose many operas, symphonies, concertos and other pieces of music, become famous throughout Europe. One of his most famous compositions is The Magic Flute, an opera depicted above.
Mozart moved to Vienna, Austria and continued to compose music, but had difficulty managing money. He began composing his final compositions in order to make a living.
Mozart died on December 5, 1791, before finishing his requiem and very poor. It is unknown what caused his death.
