  • Location and Geography of Rome
  • Explain the myth of Romulus and Remus 
  • Describe the Etruscan influence of engineering on the Romans
  • The location of Rome is on Western Italy on a River called the Tiber river. Also they are surrounded by the Alpines mountain range 
  • Influence on sports by the Etruscan 
  • The myth was where 2 brothers were born, then were victims of attempted murder and then were raised by wolves where a shepherd found them and they were taken where they saved their mom. They built a city and could not diced what to call it and the Remus was murders by Romulus
  • Greek inspired archutecture
  • Two important Etruscan structures the Romans adapted were the arch and the cuniculus. While the Arches rested on two pillars they also used trenches for Irrigation.
  • Art writing and religion from the Greeks
  • The Romans got for the Etruscan's slave fighting. That was where when the master dies the slaves would fight to death, and the winner would get a gold medal and then their grand prize was "so amazing" DEATH
  • The Romans got marble temples and to put them in public. They also got  coulombs or pillars on their buildings.               
  • The Romans then borrowed and altered the Etruscan alphabet. The Greek and Roman alphabets had many similarities. Both the Etruscan's and the Romans admired Greek pottery, painting, and sculpture. The Romans adapted many of the Greek gods as their own, but they gave them Roman names.
