  • The stock market crash occured when the stock costed more than its value. During this time the stock market lost 30 billion in one week
  • The people ran to banks to withdraw their money and banks could not keep up
  • No Work
  • Crops were easier to make so it cost less to buy and less profit for the farmers and later there was a drought
  • People bought things they could not afford and took out too big of loans
  • Companies made too much products so they had to slow down production and lay off workers
  • America loaned a lot of money to its allies and they could not pay it back because they were recovering from WWI
