Storyboard Text

  • The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.
  • oh no!
  • I will tell the harvesters to collect and burn the weeds first, then bring the wheat to me.
  • A crowd gathered by the shore and Jesus taught them about what heaven was like using a parable.
  • The person who sowed the good seed is me. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom.
  • While everyone was sleeping, the man's enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat. So weeds sprouted with the wheat.
  • "The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels."
  • The man and his servant came and found that the weeds grew with the wheat. They decide to not pull the weeds, so they don't mess up the wheat.
  • Just like the weeds being thrown away, God will send his angels to gather up evil people. And like the wheat being brought back to the man,  God will bring his people to heaven.
  • When Jesus left the crowds and went into a house, his disciples asked him to explain the parable.
  • Jesus continues.
  • THE END
