- Hi! I'm Tom. Nyla is correct! Learning about syllables teaches us part of a word that contains a single vowel sound and that is pronounced as a unit. Like /bus/, bus has one syllable.

- We've learned so much. Like /ball/, has one syllable but /carpet/ has two syllables. Oh, I just love syllables!
- Nyla really does love syllables. Haha! I do too! I like when we clap or snap the syllables.
- /Sand/, has one syllable. Syllables help us learn CVC words. Learning is fun, and so is recess. Haha!
