Payton knows that both German Shepard's and Husky's are very strong dogs.
She wants to know if a German Shepard or a Husky is stronger.
First, Payton must do research. She learns that Husky's pull sleds weighing 70 pounds for more than 150 miles, in cold places like Alaska.
Payton also learns that German Shepard's are bred to be used in the police force where they are trained to save lives.
Second, Payton has to get the dogs. In order for the experiment to work, both dogs must be the same size, the same gender, and the same age.
For 2 weeks, Payton will exercise the dogs exactly the same and feed then exactly the same. She also wants them to have the same amount of fur so neither is more tired or more hot.
