  • These compromises were hoped to be put in the constitution, and many constitutions to come, but not all were agreed upon...
  • They finally ratified the constitution for all of these reasons.
  • Other delegates propose the slave trade, and even the Great Compromise! The great compromise is an agreement made by large and small states that defined legislative structure.
  • The delegates know that the constitution is not perfect, but it is time to institute a new set of laws for the people. They are committed to making a better country to live in.
