after the war Britain won, they gained land in north america, and thats what issued the proclamation act. this didn't allow american colonists to settle west from Appalachia.

the stamp act was made on march 22, 1765. this made it necessary to pay a tax for every piece of paper and the only way you knew if they paid was if the paper had a stamp on it. after months of protest the vote to repeal was done.
