  • Hello my name is Sam. I am 10 years old . Welcome to my life
  • There is no psychological development seen and all sexual energy is sublimated to develop intellectual skills
  • LATENT STAGE : Age range: 7 to 10 years old, or elementary school through preadolescenceErogenous zone: N/A, sexual feelings inactive
  • In class I always give my 100%
  • I love football . I am the co-captain of my team and love a good match.
  • There is greater participation in group activities and the child focuses on problem-solving activities and expresses them in socially accepted forms such as sports
  • The libido in this stage is dormant or as the word suggests it is "hidden" , which means no sexual feelings towards others is experienced . The sexual feelings from the phallic stage are forgotten and any tension is focused on new skills (hobbies)
  • I like exploring my hobbies and my current favorite is drama.
  • Romeo and Juliet
  • The child seems to focus on developing close relationships with others of the same sex. Social skills are learned and group loyalties are considered important.
