Storyboard Text

  • True--nervous--very.very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say I'm mad? Hearken! and observe how healthily --how calmly I can tell you the whole story
  • I loved the Old man. He had never wronged me.He had never given me insult. For his gold I had no desire. I think it was his eye! yes, it was that! He had the eye of a vulture --a pale blue eye, with a film over it whenever it fell upon me. my blood ran cold; and so by degrees --very gradually --I ha made up m mind to take the life of the old man.
  • He watched over the old man for 7 nights at midnight waiting to see the vulture eye
  • When the old man had awoken he waited and then he Murdered the old man
  • After he killed the old man he dismembered his body and hit it below the floor boards
  • After the police arrived he admitted that he killed the old man
  • I admit the deed! --tear up the planks! here, here! --its the beating of his hideous heart!
