  • Cool it with a baboon's blood.Then the charm is firm and good.
  • Double,double toil and trouble;Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
  • How now,you secret, black, and midnight hags!What is it you do?
  • Something wicked this way comes.
  • Macbeth! Macbeth! Macbeth! Beware Macduff. Beware the thane of Fife. Dismiss me.
  • He knows thy thought. Hear his speech but say thou nought
  • After the tragic banquet, Macbeth journeys to the witches to find out more information. Macbeth wants to figure out what Macduff has been planning and what his future is.
  • He will not be commanded. Here's another. More potent than the first.
  • Macbeth! Laugh to scorn. None of woman born shall harm Macbeth.
  • The witches interact with Macbeth for he has something to ask the witches about his future.
  • Listen but speak not.

  • The first apparition showed is of armed head with daggers around the head. This apparition foretells the battle bound to happen Macbeth and Macduff.

  • The second apparition is of a bloody child. This disturbing apparition increases Macbeth's confidence for he believes that no man born of a woman can cause harm to him. 
  • What need I fear of thee? But yet I'll make assurance double sure. 
  • The final apparition is a child with a crown with a tree in his possession.The apparition is telling Macbeth that he would be victorious until Birnam Woods come to Dunsinane Hill.
  • That will never be.
  • Macbeth is being addressed about how Macduff has fled to England
