Storyboard Description

Monsters Due On Maple Street by Rod Serling is a story that gives an invisible meaning about Communism. It shows that one theory can break trust and friendships. It started when a boy explained a theory of aliens among them. Everyone believed this and became suspicious of one another. Though people were scared, they desperately wanted a scapegoat to solve their problems. They accused with no proof and killed for answers. Soon everyone was enemies with each other making everyone dangerous even children because of some kid's story.

  • Maple Street was a nice neighborhood. They were all friends and everyone was kind.
  • Climax
  • You killed him!
  • Tommy was spreading theories that their are aliens among them. This started residents to not trust their most trusted friends.
  • Falling Action
  • This is your fault!
  • People started making wild accusations to their fellow neighbors. It started when someones car turned on without the owner knowing.
  • Resolution
  • They were desperate for an answer.
  • Charley got so desperate and killed one of their neighbors. They thought he actually knew who it was and would kind of blow his cover.
  • They all fell into conflict fighting and shooting. Everyone used violence to solve the problem.
  • This conflict was all just an experiment for the aliens. With the simplest flicker of power the humans were scared.
